Purpose and audience

Cognify provides free self-exploration assessments and educational reports exclusively for adults over 18 years old. You do not need an account or email to take a test and read its complete result. The age scope is a product audience rule; the service does not collect your age or verify it.

What results can establish

Results are approximate descriptions of the answers in an attempt, not established facts about your personality, abilities, health, or career suitability. The original questions are developed through research, editorial and bilingual checks, and scoring verification. These instruments have not been empirically validated; those development efforts do not establish accuracy for an individual or equivalence between English- and Indonesian-speaking populations.

Values are scale indices, not IQ, percentiles, accuracy rates, or probabilities of success. No combined intelligence ranking is provided. Your circumstances and interpretation of questions can affect the result.

Uses you must not make of results

Do not use these tests or reports as a requirement, evidence of eligibility, a screening tool, or a decision basis for recruitment or promotion, educational admission or scholarships, certification or licensing, diagnosis or treatment, legal proceedings, or other official administrative purposes. Personal career exploration is permitted.

Cognify does not offer these reports as officially licensed, certified, or recognized administrative assessments. They do not replace assessment by appropriately qualified and authorized people. A disclaimer, careful wording, or a framework citation does not establish authorization for a use.

Original instruments and references

Cognify’s 16-type inventory is independently developed and is not the official MBTI® assessment. Its eight-area inventory concerns engagement and tendencies, not tested abilities or fixed learning styles. DISC and RIASEC reports do not reproduce provider scoring or occupational matching. References to frameworks, authors, and services do not imply affiliation or endorsement. Source titles identify the original publications.

Saving and browser access

A first-party browser credential controls access to your attempts and results. Only answers acknowledged as saved are available for resume. Changing an unfinished answer replaces its previous stored value; no prior answer-value history is kept. Closing a tab can lose changes still marked unsaved. Submission uses the saved answers and freezes the completed result.

Browser access initially expires after 30 days unless renewed by a qualifying new action: starting a test, saving a changed answer, submitting, requesting email, or creating or revoking a share. Reading pages, retries, and optional analytics do not renew it. Lost or expired access cannot be restored by matching email, IP, or device details. Ending browser access disables access but does not delete records.

Respectful use of the service

Do not attempt to access another browser owner’s private records, bypass access controls, disrupt the service, or present an exploratory report as a verified qualification. You may keep a copy of your result for personal exploration while preserving its limitations and source information.

Versions, service details, and questions

Content updates may change future tests. A completed report keeps the content and versions used for that result; later updates do not silently rescore it. An unavailable or withdrawn test version may prevent an unfinished attempt from completing.

The operator, contact details, effective date, and operating details displayed with these terms identify the responsible service. Use that contact for questions about the service or these terms. Displaying a notice or pressing the ordinary start button is not recorded as verified age or consent to optional analytics. Nothing here removes rights that apply under applicable law.

Provider processing and transfers: Optional result copies are submitted to Google SMTP. Submission IPs are enriched locally from bundled DB-IP Lite files. No participant IP is sent to DB-IP. Google may process submitted email content according to Google’s terms.
Provider retention: Application records including current answers, results, optional encrypted email, and IP metadata are stored in the operator PostgreSQL database without a product TTL.
Collection mode: Optional analytics only with permission

Processing purposes and bases: Answers, results, the cognify_browser cookie, optional emailed report copies, and submit-time IP metadata are processed to provide the requested self-exploration service. Optional visitor telemetry (supported browser/context snapshots and semantic activity described in the Privacy Policy) is collected only after an explicit allow choice under collection policy collection-opt-in-v1. Declining or withdrawing stops new optional collection; records already stored remain. No advertising or third-party analytics trackers are used.
